1. Booking & Payment

1.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Sydney Catamaran Hire. Bookings are subject to availability.

1.2 Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total charter fee is required to secure your booking. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of making the booking, otherwise the booking may be cancelled.

1.3 Balance Payment

The remaining 50% balance must be paid no less than 7 days prior to the charter date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the booking with forfeiture of the deposit.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 Cancellation by Charterer

• Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the charter date will receive a full refund of all payments.
• Cancellations made 7-13 days prior to the charter date will receive a 50% refund of total payments.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the charter date will not receive a refund.

2.2 Cancellation Due to Weather

If Sydney Catamaran Hire determines that weather conditions are unsafe for cruising, we will offer to reschedule your charter to an alternative date at no additional charge, or provide a full refund. The skipper’s decision on weather-related cancellations is final.

3. Charter Operations

3.1 Licensed Skipper

All charters include a licensed and experienced skipper. The skipper has full authority over the vessel and all safety decisions. The skipper’s instructions must be followed at all times.

3.2 Passenger Capacity

The maximum passenger capacity varies by vessel and is specified at the time of booking. This limit must not be exceeded. Children count toward the passenger limit regardless of age.

4. Safety & Liability

4.1 Safety Equipment

Life jackets are provided for all passengers and must be worn when directed by the skipper. Children under 12 must wear life jackets at all times when on deck.

4.2 Limitation of Liability

Passengers board and travel at their own risk. Sydney Catamaran Hire is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence. We strongly recommend passengers have appropriate travel insurance.

5. BYO & Catering

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages at no additional charge. We provide eskies with ice. Please use non-glass containers near swimming areas for safety.

6. General Provisions

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
